Score! Egyptian Amputee Stops at Nothing to Pursue His Dreams

INTERNATIONAL: Abdallah Mostafa was a 10-year-old football fanatic when he lost his leg in an accident.

Now 26, Mostafa is proud that he never let his disability bring his soccer dreams to a halt. He is a member of the Pyramids soccer team for amputees, and wishes more football clubs in Egypt would follow suit to have a soccer league for talents like his.

For Mostafa, nothing is impossible. His injury left him depressed and at home for only two months, but after that he decided he will pursue follow his dreams.

He joined his team two years ago, and says he is happy to see more football clubs establishing teams for amputees.

"Some people used to tell me that I'm wasting time, which was the only thing that annoyed me. Some people were encouraging me, and others said this would be difficult for me," he said.

But he insists that criticism only pushes him forward.

"I love a challenge, whenever I hear an opinion that I don't like or something negative,
